The same engine from the M8 Competition and X5 M Competition is your sole engine option – an almighty twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 with 616bhp and 553lb ft of torque. 0-60 in 3.1 seconds, and 124 mph happens in 10.8. Top speed is electronically limited to 190.

The M550i is powered by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8, making 523 horsepower, 553 pound-feet of torque, all sent to the wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. 0 to 60 mph is just 3.6 seconds, and even features launch control!  The M5 makes more power, but torque output is the same for the M550i, M5 and M5 Comp, making this one serious contender.

While this R8 came in for paint correction and ceramic coating, our concierge service was able to meet quite a few of the owner’s needs. A full front clear bra, including rockers and a gloss black roof wrap was done by our friends at Tint Tech, seriously protecting the paint a step further. A series of painted accents was taken care of by 806 Collison, and finally a Radenso radar system was seamlessly integrated by Audio Craft. 

The Gallardo’s 5.2-liter V-10 growls out another 10 more hp in the Superleggera than in the LP560-4, thanks to some additional engine management. This Superleggera featured  Lamborghini’s e-gear automated manual transmission, which has three modes: Normal and Corsa are automatic, but a manual sport mode uses only the paddle shifters. Launch control drops the clutch at 5000 rpm and lets you experience full power and acceleration.  To shave a claimed 154 pounds, Lamborghini used carbon fiber for the engine-cover, mirrors, rear spoiler, side skirts, diffuser and many of the interior bits. They even claimed the use of Alcantara over leather was a weight-saving measure. A set of  19-inch forged aluminum wheels, titanium lug nuts and Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires save 29 pounds.
