T he Lamborghini Gallardo made it’s debut 2003, officially under Audi ownership, and sold better than any previous Lambo, over 14,000 examples were built. One might say it helped “save Lamborghini”. The company histroically was producing around 250 cars per year, but after the Gallardo was announced, that number grew significnalty, to around 2,000 cars per year.Â
