T he clean cut sibling of the Lamborghini Gallardo is far from tame!
After 13 victories with the R8 at the 24 hours of LeMans (as many as Ford and Ferrari combined) and being second only to Porsche, it was time for the next generation car. With a serious and winning pedigree behind them, Audi made what some considered a brash move – ditching the V8 engine and manual transmission. The second generation would come with choice of two V10 engines that offered 540 hp or 610 hp and a 7-speed S tronic transmission.
